YES! I’d like more info about St. Kate’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing, including courses, tuition, financial aid, and more.
St. Kate’s gives you a nursing degree you can put your faith in — because we’ve been educating Twin Cities nurses for more than 80 years.
When you enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the College for Adults, you can feel confident that you’re earning a nursing education that’s going to dazzle employers. Our high-quality clinical placements and emphasis on patient advocacy, social justice, and holistic care will transform you into the type of practitioner that every healthcare organization wants.
Designed for adult learners without a prior nursing degree, our BSN prepares you for RN licensure. The 50-credit nursing major can be completed over 21-23 months in a hybrid format, after successfully completing prerequisite courses as a pre-nursing student.
Transferring should be easy. To that end, we offer competitive transfer scholarships and provide one-on-one support and personalized goal planning to streamline your path to the BSN.
At St. Kate’s, we value your prior education. We offer a highly transfer-friendly process and will accept credits from previous college work, continuing education, or life experiences to help you satisfy the prerequisite and liberal arts requirements for the BSN.
If you have already completed many of the required courses, your enrollment time as a pre-nursing student (Step 1) will be significantly reduced, allowing you to apply for the competitive nursing major sequence sooner.
Furthermore, our robust transfer system streamlines the entire process, ensuring you can focus on what really matters — your education. And we won’t put you on a long waiting list to hear back. Contact our admissions team to learn more about how you can transfer to St. Kate’s.

Courses in the Nursing program are 100% online and meet synchronously in the evenings. Our weekly lab experiences and clinical rotations take place in our state-of-the-art simulation facility, as well as at our regional hospitals and with clinical partners.
We want to do everything in our power to help you succeed. That’s why we take an inclusive, personalized, and goal-driven approach to your education, ultimately helping you gain the skills and confidence needed to be an excellent nurse after graduation. And we make the program transfer-friendly, fast, and flexible — you can start in the spring or fall.
Due to the intensity of the nursing major, students are strongly advised not to plan on working full-time once they begin the 21-23 month nursing major sequence. Special track available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to waive some nursing major credits. Contact Admissions for details.
